Horses Heal™
The use of animals to facilitate positive changes in a broad spectrum of therapeutic settings is becoming more accepted, appreciated and valued. A positive relationship with a large animal such as the horse can promote physical, emotional, cognitive, and social improvement for any individual, with or without special needs.

Our program uses gentle communication techniques with horses to
teach human lesson in kindness, compassion, leadership, self-esteem,
confidence, being a team player, the ability to focus and a host of
additional qualities that we humans value highly. The relationship and
communication skills that assure success with the horse are the same
skills that are required for successful relationships in all areas of
human endeavor.
The powerful yet gentle essence of the horse is the primary
ingredient to the success of our program. The horse almost always
becomes a best friend, demonstrating with great patience how to
respect, interact, be responsible and love.
